The keyboard itself is okay, but a tiny flimsy. The description says "Aluminum" but it does not have any aluminum parts whatsoever. 100% plastic! It does shield the iPad fairly nicely when it really is stored and snaped in face down towards the keys. When in use, it does hold the iPad up rather nicely and the battery does appear to last forever on a charge. Keys are slightly akward at 1st, but you will get employed to it.
Overall, I am pleased - but I would not have paid that substantially had I know it was 100% plastic. Portion of my reason for ordering this model was the reality that it said "aluminum" and considering that the iPads are aluminum that is what I wanted.
